  • The second gathering to pray the Rosary in honor of the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady Of Fatima will take place on Tuesday June 13th at 6:30pm at the grotto of St. Nicholas Church. Bring something to sit on and join your fellow parishioners. In the event of inclement weather, the Rosary will be prayed inside the Church.
  • Our annual Corpus Christi procession, celebrating the Holy Eucharist, will take place on Sunday June 18th at St. Nicholas Church after the 8:45 Mass. All are invited to attend and participate.
  • Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Celebration will take place on her feast day, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Assumption Church. Continuing the charitable work that our Parish started last year with the collection of shoes, this year we will be collecting undergarments for distribution to the needy. New, Bagged and/or Tagged Undergarments Only,  adult or children, can be put in bins which will be placed in Assumption and St. Nicholas Churches beginning June 10th. Body and Soul Ministry will have our first meeting on Thursday, April 27th at 7:00 PM in OLPH parish office.  We will explore tips and tools for wellness of the body, mind and spirit which can lead to greater health and happiness in our lives that will positively affect our families and community.  For further information please contact Ginnie at 335-4602.

SPACE IS LIMITED FOR MAKER FUN FACTORY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2017! 
E-mail Stacey King at srhssbense@gmail.com as soon as possible to reserve your child’s spot before May 1st! Include the name/s of the child, current grade, and a parent’s name and phone number. VBS will run from 1:00-4:00 pm, July 31st – August 4th. Detailed information and registration will be e-mailed out on May 1st. We’re looking forward to a week of faith-filled fun! RELIGIOUS EDUCATION SIGN UP – Religious Education Re-Registration and New Registration process has begun for our upcoming year 2017-2018. A discount of $10 will be given for early registration if completed by May 16th. Registration acceptance deadlines are June 1st for the Summer Intensive and August 16th for the Sunday and Monthly program. FATIMA -The year 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady Of Fatima. To commemorate this blessed event, the St. Mary’s Altar and Rosary Society will be praying the Rosary at the Grotto on the grounds of St. Nicholas Church on the 13th of each month, May thru October, at 6:30pm and all are welcome. Bring something to sit on and join your fellow parishioners in honoring Our Lady of The Rosary and offer a prayer for our Parish and your own special intentions. In the event of inclement weather, the praying of the Rosary will be moved inside the Church.”

CHRISTMAS HANDBELL CONCERT – Mark your calendars – Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Parish Christmas Concert, Saturday December 9, 2017, Assumption Church, featuring the Wilmington Handbell Ensemble. This Ensemble has performed at various venues including Longwood Gardens, the Delaware Art Museum and with the Newark Symphony. This will be a great family event for the Christmas season. More information will follow.
