The mission of our boy scouting and cub scouting ministry is to provide an effective educational program designed to train in the responsibilities of practicing citizenship, providing growth in moral strength and character, and to enhance the development of physical, mental, and emotional fitness.

Raise and provide funds for the basic operational costs of OLPH Parish, as well as targeted needs recommended by the Pastor and Parish Council. By organizing and conducting events that ensure that there is FUN in fundraising, we hope to encourage more parishioners to join us and fulfill their stewardship.

Light Weight Bible Study

Mission Statement:
The Light Weight Mission is to spread the Light of Christ and get people on fire for their Catholic Faith, while we help them achieve the freedom that God wants them to have from things that control them, such as drugs, alcohol, and primarily food.

Pro Life and Justice Committee

Mission Statement:
The Mission Statement of The Prolife Group is: to enlighten parishioners as to what the Prolife movement covers, emphasizing that abortion is not the only topic to contend with throughout the parish. 1) Death Penalty – What is the Church’s position and what are the alternatives. 2) Abortion – What is the Church’s position regarding abortion. 3) Outline all available options as alternatives to aborting 4) List all counseling resources both within our parish and also outside organizations which can provide guidance to expectant mothers, troubled teens and adults 5) Co-ordinate with all Pro-life Groups in Southern New Jersey in order to build a powerful organization with a strong voice.

Spanish News Bulletin Ministry

To inform the Spanish speaking congregation of the activities of the Parish as well as those particular to the Hispanic Community, bringing awareness that we are all part of the OLPH family.

Technology Ministry

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide quality visual aids in lieu of missals and hymnals.Our vision is to work closely with our Priests and the music ministry to provide an enhanced worship experience for the Parish community. This ministry is open for anyone confirmation age & older. Knowledge of basic computer operations and especially the Power point program is helpful.
