Eucharist Revival Newsletter #13

Dear Eucharistic Revival Teams,

We are writing to you post-National Eucharistic Congress and in the month dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. There is such significance in all the graces and blessings our good Father pours out on us!

We are building the kingdom in multiple and integrated ways over the last few years - from the Convocation of Catholic Leaders: The Joy of the Gospel in 2019, to the Synod in 2021 and now the National Eucharistic Revival that began in 2022. All of these are connected and integral to our call as missionary disciples.

I want to bring to your attention an upcoming event, two mission-building resources, and a podcast episode featuring a few of our recent Eucharistic Congress pilgrims.

Liturgy & Hospitality Formation Day, Sept. 28

The Diocese of Camden is hosting an event to which you are invited – a day of hospitality equipping. The Synod highlighted a need for broader view of hospitality. This important ministry is important for every parish and we hope you will register and join us.

National Eucharistic Revival

On behalf of Bishop Sullivan and Bishop Williams, we are grateful for your laboring in the vineyard to lead people to Jesus in the Eucharist. You should think of yourselves as pilgrimage leaders for your parish! Sister Alicia Torres wrote to us “these graces will now take root and transform our lives and make it possible for us to be instruments of renewal and conversion in the lives of others.”

Our mission: to make our Eucharistic Jesus known, loved, and served!

The national team has shared with us the following for this year of forming Eucharistic Missionaries.

  • The Year of Mission

You can find the link to the playbook for the Year of Mission that includes the 4 pillars for the year, the playbooks are in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.

  • Walk with One

This year also includes the Walk with One initiative that will form us in the ways of spiritual accompaniment – Identify, Intercede, Connect and Invite. For the love of Jesus, everyone in the parish should engage with this initiative – every person has someone with whom they can walk.
